Cancer stretched us to our limit.

In 2018 we received the news that parents dread: Your child has cancer. The following year stretched us to our limits as a couple, as parents, as individuals, and as a family.

People have told us that we seemed so united, a solid team, handling all that came along with grace. Really we felt like we’re just parts of the whole, doing our piece to keep running. Stitched together, but ready to come apart at the seams.

Now at the dawn of 2021, life is still crazy, upside-down, and full of the unexpected. We have all grown in new ways, and we’re still working to heal the wounds left by cancer, COVID, and life in general.

We invite you to share in our triumphs, failures, and experiences as we continue on our life journeys. Stitched Together started as a vision to tell our story as parents in cancerland, but is evolving to serve as a hub for all of our family’s creative outlets. Come along on the journey with us through this stitched-together life.
